An introduction to KPM Ltd

An introduction to KPM Ltd

The idea for KPM was based on the philosophy of 'focusing on the big picture' but using the 'detail' within the big picture to influence the results; by acknowledging what the big picture was and utilising the detail within the big picture to understand the objective and outcome meant the process of doing that became simple but more complete.

The problems

The failures of some of my previous employers to identify, understand and execute processes and basic working practices that adhered to basic and logical management principles gives huge insight into why the above approach should work but often doesn't. When you understand this relationship, planning and organisation gains more structure and more effective outcomes. What does all of this mean do I hear you say! It means, in layman's terms, that the idea of the entity of the company and the way in which routes to the outcome or objective of an idea or project manifest themselves are inherently misjudged, misguided or ineffective.

Many inefficient processes come out of these issues which cost more money and time than is often practical for small to medium sized companies whereby both are either lost with little care or are soaked up as a risk within the organisation; a fully expected and accounted for risk. KPM takes these issues and dissects the root causes and attempts to, where possible, mitigate them by utilising the lessons learnt from my working history and experience and adapt them into something with a tangible benefit.

Our solution

To scale this down to what KPM do is not always correct or possible from a large organisational perspective. The problems of the larger company do not always equate to a solution for small to medium sized businesses. But, taking elements of the above problems can give insight into solutions when scaled down.
